Today’s puzzle is “Rainbow Toy Cars” made by Galison and sent to me by Life of Puzzles.
For the music I started by looking for toy cars and found a Toys kit which I paired with the Summer Rain Kit from Crate Cuts. There was no rainbow kit, but I figured summer rain is good at making rainbows!
This was my first rainbow based puzzle, and it inspired me to use all 6 of my sorting trays! Separating by colour whilst I started on the red section made the subsequent stripes much easier. I enjoyed the variety of toy cars too. The pieces were a little loose fitting which made moving sections around a bit difficult.
It took me about 6 hours to complete the puzzle and I’m now looking forward to solving more rainbow puzzles in future.
Taking this puzzle apart took over 2 hours because I had this crazy idea to make the cars zoom across my board for a stop motion video!
