Look at this beautiful puzzle Grateful House sent me! It’s a perfect match for the Polar Flare expansion from Native Instruments. I explored the kits to find my favourites.
This puzzle is gorgeous. The artwork by Dulk is very strange and reminds me of “His Dark Materials” series of books by Philip Pullman, with the polar bears, hot air balloons, and mysterious doors. But there’s also a walrus with a necklace of cards, whose tusks have been cut. Bright red narwhals swimming through the sky and a bird controlling one like a puppet. All very odd, but intriguing and with wonderful colours for a jigsaw.
The pieces have a matte linen finish which has no glare under my lighting. The pieces fit together well without any false fits and there wasn’t a speck of puzzle dust in the box.
Instead of dust, the box contained this awesome zippered cloth bag to keep the pieces in ready for the next time I solve it. Plus, a cute little notecard of the puzzle and a big poster as well!
